Verity Systems introduces CopyDisc Platinum - Professional CD/DVD Publishing Systems

Media Tech, May 2005: Verity Systems today announced a new range of automated duplicators and printers – the CopyDisc Platinum Series. Building on the success of their existing CopyDisc range the company has redesigned their range of automated duplicating and printing systems to create a more compact series without compromising on the renowned quality of the outgoing model.

Designed to offer maximum versatility, the CopyDisc Platinum Series provide hands-free, automated CD/DVD duplicators, printers and combined duplicating and printing systems. Available with 4 or 8 drives; the CopyDisc 4 and CopyDisc 8 (fitted with the very latest industry-leading Plextor CD-R or Pioneer DVD±R drives) offer high-speed duplication of up to 220 discs per session.

Office and Production Ready

The CopyDisc Platinum Series has been specifically designed to fit with any environment. “Its small footprint means that it will sit on most workbenches or desks and will compliment any office environment,” comments Audrey Crawford, head of marketing at Verity Systems. “Combine this with the sturdy and reliable metal framework, come to be expected from the CopyDisc range, and you also have the perfect solution for the professional production house where 24/7, rigorous operation is required.”

Interchangeable Printers

The CopyDisc4 Platinum duplicator model can now be fitted with a variety of industry–leading printers to deliver the very best CD/DVD publishing solutions on the market. For photo-quality inkjet printing, choose the OptiPrinter Pro, the most cost effective inkjet printer available. Or take the TEAC P-55, featuring the very latest CD/DVD printing technology, delivering the best retail quality output possible. Choose from the PowerPro or the Prism thermal printers for high-speed, low cost printing.

More flexibility is found in the operating choice – either standalone or networked. Standalone versions can be run simply with a power connection utilizing the internal HDD and built in software. The Networked version benefits from Verity Systems TrueNet 2 software allowing job queues from any computer on a network, database integration and more.

The CopyDisc Platinum Series will be introduced for the first time in the United States at Media Tech, Las Vegas and will be ready to ship immediately.
