'Get Packing' with the VS650 CD Jewel Case Packer from Verity Systems

Verity Systems has begun shipping its latest innovation in CD packaging equipment, the VS650 CD Packer. The compact unit is capable of packing CDs and DVDs and accompanying booklets and inserts into slim-line cases. The VS650 can also be used with standard jewel cases.

The VS650 is simple and easy to use. An open jewel case is placed on the worktable of the unit; the automatic robotic arm then lifts the CD and the booklet, which are then placed accurately into the open case.

The hopper has a capacity of 60 CDs or DVDs and 100 booklets or inserts. The unit itself is small enough to easily sit on a desktop and can also be easily moved to different locations.

As up to 800 CDs can be packed per hour the time and cost savings versus packing by hand are enormous. Also greatly reduces the risk of contamination by packing by hand. Small replicators considering outsourcing the packaging of CDs could also make substantial cost savings by using the VS650.
