Verity Systems Launch Advanced Networking Software to Compliment their Range of Auto-Loading CopyDisc Duplicators and Printers

1st February 2007 – Verity Systems, world-leading manufacturers of CD and DVD duplicators and printers, today announced the launch of DiscPilot, an advanced networking software solution which allows multiple users on a network to simultaneously send duplication projects to their CopyDisc duplicator and/or printer.

This Windows based software suite enables users to create disc images, design labels and send them as a ‘job’ to the CopyDisc. Users can also request the required number of discs for the CopyDisc to produce. DiscPilot’s intuitive user interface simplifies the whole disc publishing process so that anyone can use it. Through its clever wizard architecture, DiscPilot leads users step by step through the disc creation process.

DiscPilot has a fully integrated “ISO” image creation tool which uses Nero technology for creating image masters. Nero is a CD/DVD recording software package which allows you to burn audio and data CDs. It provides a user friendly, explorer-like interface which allows you to drag and drop files within Nero and from Windows Explorer. Comprehensive disc label creator software is also included so that users can create professional print images for their discs too. Users can seamlessly swap between these programs depending on their requirement without ever having to leave DiscPilot.

Job status is reported back to the user’s PC in real time. Remote copying and printing of discs is highly reliable and efficient, since the CopyDisc can be accessed from a PC instead of having to physically supervise the unit in operation. Users can publish either unique "one-off" CDs or multiple disc duplication runs of up to 660 discs at a time.

The software runs on virtually any server/client network under Windows 2000/XP. DiscPilot is available today with all Verity Systems networked CopyDisc and CopyDisc XC systems.
